Myxomycètes de la Collection Janna Oppel

Collection d’exsiccata de myxomycètes récoltés en Suisse, France et Italie entre 2002 et 2008 et réunis par Madame Janna Oppel, mycologue décédée le 2 mars 2009. Cette collection comprend 312 échantillons conservés dans des petites boîtes étiquettées (29 genres, 128 espèces). Elle a été leguée à la Société de Mycologie de Neuchâtel et Environs et transmise à l'Herbier de l'Université de Neuchâtel (Suisse).

J'ai décidé de photographier cette collection parce que ces petites merveilles ne se révélent complètement que sous un microscope et afin de pouvoir la partager avec le public.

Myxomycetes from the Janna Oppel Collection

A  selection of  exsiccata of myxomycetes collected in Switzerland, France and Italy between 2002 and 2008 and preserved by Mrs Janna Oppel, mycologist. She died on 2 March 2009. This collection includes 312 samples maintained in small labelled boxes (29 genera, 128 species). It was bequeathed to the Society of Mycology of Neuchâtel and transmitted to the Herbarium of the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland).

I decided to photograph these little wonders because they only reveal themselves completely under the microscope and I wanted to be able to share this remarkable collection with the public.
